Night Auditor Position

***Looking for overnight Part-Time availability 11:00pm – 7:00am Friday and Saturday nights.***

Job Summary

The Hampton Inn by Hilton San Marcos is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing and reconciling the hotel's daily financial transactions, ensuring all guest services are properly handled during overnight hours, and providing excellent customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform end-of-day financial reporting and closeout procedures, including balancing all accounts and completing nightly audit reports.
  • Greet guests and process check-ins/check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Answer phones, handle guest inquiries, and resolve any issues during overnight hours.
  • Ensure safety and security of guests by monitoring hotel access and addressing any concerns.
  • Assist with booking reservations and offering information on local attractions.
  • Prepare and set up the breakfast area for the morning shift.
  • Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
  • Experience with property management systems (PMS), especially Hilton's PEP, is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Must be available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
