In your capacity as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities that center around client care, including:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging group sessions that promote connection among clients, encouraging them to share experiences and support one another's growth.
• Individual Therapy: Conduct personalized therapy sessions that address the unique thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of each client, equipping them with effective coping strategies and action plans.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized and goal-focused treatment plans, tailoring approaches to meet their specific needs and preferences.
• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track and evaluate client progress, employing feedback methods that guide adjustments in treatment plans.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, ensuring cohesive care and utilizing collective expertise to navigate complex client cases.

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are participating in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This population often faces significant mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and transitional life issues. Your support will empower them to build resilience, establish healthier coping mechanisms, and ultimately achieve their mental health goals.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications to effectively meet the demands of this role:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster therapeutic relationships.
• An understanding of evidence-based practices relevant to mental health treatments.

While the position requires a minimum of one year of relevant experience in counseling, candidates with additional experience in a telehealth environment, familiarity with PHP programming, or proficiency in facilitative techniques for therapy groups will be preferred. Insight into the challenges faced by young adults, especially in a remote setting, will set successful candidates apart.
