Description Summary: The Segment Risk Manager is responsible for oversight and administration of operational and regulatory risk strategy programs for a business segment. Duties & Responsibilities: Evaluate effective of controls and escalate as appropriate. Direct self-monitoring and testing activities to ensure that they are performed in accordance with Corporate Risk Management requirements.

Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of enterprise and regulatory controls and the resulting risk and control self-assessments. Deliver timely escalation of all issues requiring attention to senior management. Work with business segment management to ensure that the overall risk function is effectively supporting strategic goals.

Collaborate with audit/business segment/corporate risk to address issues with plausible action plans and target dates. Act as the central point for receipt and distribution of important risk information for the business segment and reciprocate the flow of information back to corporate risk management. Ensure business segment adheres to corporate and business unit policies and procedures.

Must be aware of and keep abreast of credit risk associated with assigned business segment. May or may not have managerial responsibility. Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Minimum of 5 years of experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management or Operational Risk. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree 4 additional years of segment-specific or risk related experience may be considered Preferred Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory compliance requirements. Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communications and the ability to communicate and present requirements and issues clearly and concisely. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with all businesses. Ability to deal with ambiguity, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in MS Office suite. Compensation Range: $70,000 - $140,000 Annual Salary The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
