We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team at Mental Strength Makers Counseling Center. You will be an integral part of a supportive and collaborative team that aims to improve mental health outcomes for our clients. We manage all administrative tasks, such as client marketing, insurance verification, and billing, allowing you to focus entirely on providing effective therapy.

• Provide virtual therapy sessions to a minimum of 25 clients weekly, ensuring a high standard of care through evidence-based practices.
• Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs and goals.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy, to facilitate client progress.
• Document client progress and maintain organized records using our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
• Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with the administrative team to optimize client intake processes and ensure seamless service delivery.

The LCSW will engage primarily with adult clients in a hospice setting, addressing a variety of mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment disorders. Our practice is committed to serving a diverse client population, and experience with varied backgrounds, including the LGBTQIA+ community and minority groups, is valued.

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active LCSW license valid in Virginia.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience.
• Experience providing psychotherapy services to clients aged 18 and older.
• Professional malpractice insurance coverage.

• Specialized training in CBT and Psychodynamic Therapy.
• Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and men’s mental health issues.
• Previous engagement with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competency in therapy.
