This role typically involves collaborating with teams in different time zones, maintaining and updating existing apps, and developing new features. Night shift arrangements are often preferred by companies that operate globally or need round-the-clock development coverage. Remote work allows developers to contribute from any location, providing flexibility and access to a broader talent pool. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based collaboration tools is also important. Strong self-motivation, time management, and communication skills help you excel while working independently during off-hours.
