Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (EOWEO)
7:30 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM
Position Summary
Inteplast is seeking dependable Packaging Technicians/Packers to safely operate packaging equipment, package finished products, maintain quality standards, and support production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
  1. Operate and maintain packaging equipment including bagging machines, heat sealers, labelers, conveyors, palletizers, and packing cranes.
  2. Package, wrap, label, and inspect finished products according to company specifications.
  3. Prepare and replenish packaging materials and supplies.
  4. Print and attach pallet labels and move finished pallets to designated locations.
  5. Assist with production line startup and shutdown.
  6. Maintain production, packaging, and inventory records.
  7. Perform quality inspections and ensure products meet company standards.
  8. Follow all safety procedures, GMP regulations, and company policies.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  10. Operate pallet jacks and use hand tools as needed.
  11. Assist in other production areas as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Previous packaging or manufacturing experience preferred.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  3. Mechanical aptitude and basic computer knowledge.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Reliable attendance and willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
  6. Ability to work well in a team.
  7. Must pass pre-employment screening.
Physical Requirements
  1. Lift up to 50 lbs.
  2. Stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and pull throughout a 12-hour shift.
  3. Climb stairs and ladders as needed.
  4. Work in hot, cold, and noisy manufacturing environments.
  5. Wear steel-toe shoes and required PPE.
