Job description

Summary: Cleans and services assigned area according to performance and safety standards to ensure a clean, comfortable, safe and attractive environment.

Essential Job Functions:

· Keep all public and designated back of the house areas free of debris. (i.e. glasses, bottles, cans, paper, etc.)

· Clean and sanitize storage and public areas in casino and surrounding property area

· Polish all metal surfaces

· Vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and general cleaning of all public and back of the house areas in the casino

· Sweep and mop stairwells

· Clean vending areas

· Advise Director of Properties know of any shortages that need ordering (chemicals, equipment, etc.)

· Refill chemical stations and bottles

· Clean all glass surfaces

· Complete any extra duties as per management or supervisor

· All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Must be familiar with Hazardous Material/MSDS procedures and OSHA requirements

· Ability to communicate and maintain a high level of courtesy with casino and race track patrons

· Desire and willingness to learn

· Communication skills

· Ability to communicate with Team members and guests

· Ability to be a TEAM player

· Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process

· Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays

· Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing with Illinois Gaming Board

Physical and Mental Demands:

· Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk

· Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds

· Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel

· Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor

· Exposure to high noise level
