Working under the direction of a Radiologist, you will perform imaging procedures with minimal supervision while utilizing sound judgment and technical expertise to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 0.90 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 12 Hour Nights (United States of America)

Responsibilities:

  • Performs diagnostic imaging procedures using appropriate equipment and established protocols.

  • Operates and troubleshoots imaging equipment and systems to ensure quality images and efficient workflow.

  • Provides basic patient care and support before, during, and after procedures.

  • Completes required documentation and performs departmental clerical duties.

  • Protects patient rights, privacy, and confidentiality while delivering compassionate care.

  • Participates in quality improvement, patient safety, and departmental performance initiatives.

  • Assists with the orientation of new employees and supports students during clinical rotations.

  • Maintains a safe environment by following radiation safety, infection prevention, and departmental policies.

  • Collaborates with Radiologists, providers, and other healthcare team members to support quality patient care.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.

  • Current New Mexico Radiologic Technologist (RRT) license or temporary license required.

  • ARRT R.T.(R) certification preferred at the time of hire.

  • Candidates who are not ARRT certified at hire must obtain ARRT R.T.(R) certification within one (1) year of employment.
