Clinical Coordinator โ€“ Emergency Department-Night

Hourly Pay Range: $43.69 - $67.72 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Clinical Coordinator
  • Location: Swedish Hospital
  • Full Time: 36 hours per week
  • Hours: night shift (7pm-7:30am) w/ rotating weekends

What You Will Need:

  • License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
  • Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in appropriate clinical setting required; Prior management experience preferred

What You Will Do:

  • Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
  • Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput
  • Would assume direct patient care if necessary
  • Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s)
  • Guide and direct a team of care-givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge
  • Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills
  • Takes lead on clinical performance management
