Job description

NICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 4x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)

We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse to join our team for the night shift. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a NICU setting and be comfortable floating among similar units as needed. This position requires working weekends with a commitment of 4 weekend shifts per 6-week period.

Manage care for neonates with varying diagnoses.

Administer medications and treatments as ordered, including blood products and antibiotics.

Monitor patient vitals and provide respiratory support when necessary.

Assist in high-risk deliveries and perform necessary procedures such as lumbar punctures.

Educate patients and families on care procedures and breastfeeding support.

Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system.

Minimum of 1 year of NICU nursing experience required.

BLS and NRP certifications are required.

Experience with a variety of NICU equipment and procedures.

Must be willing to float to similar units based on facility needs.
