  • Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
  • Must pass a Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least an 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
  • Comfortable working in a multifunction emergency department serving geriatric, pediatric, and psych patients
  • Experience with stroke care and TNK administration required
  • Strong clinical skills in emergency nursing, triage, and rapid response decision-making
Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy, multidisciplinary Emergency Department
  • Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients with a wide range of emergency and urgent conditions
  • Support triage, patient flow, and prioritization in a high-volume acute care setting
  • Administer medications, start and maintain IVs, and manage emergency interventions
  • Provide care for stroke patients, including TNK administration when indicated
  • Care for adult and pediatric patients, including geriatric, psych, and adolescent populations
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, and other members of the healthcare team
  • Maintain accurate documentation and charting in Cerner
  • Follow infection prevention, isolation precautions, and procedural safety standards
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
