Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Zeeland region seeking First Article Inspectors. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive First Article Inspections (FAI) according to AS9102 standards.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure product conformity.
  • Utilize a variety of precision measuring tools and equipment, including CMM, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, identifying and reporting non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspection activities and generate FAI reports for customer submission.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inspection processes and quality control.

Recommended Qualifications
  • 3-5 years experience in a quality control or inspection role within manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications (GD&T preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to use a wide range of precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM).
  • Strong understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes and AS9102 reporting requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformances accurately.
