Position Summary


Associated Protective Service (APS) is seeking qualified candidates to provide traffic control and security services to our clients in Nashville and surrounding communities. Current, former, and retired post commissioned officers are encouraged to apply. Some of the services we provide are traffic control, event security, fixed posts, protective services, and escorts. Our clients are well-established, high-end entities, including corporations, utility companies, government agencies, and municipalities.

Job Requirements:

  • Tennessee Armed Security Guard License
  • Current, former, or retired post commission
  • At least one year of LEO service
  • Dallas Law certification encouraged

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control traffic flow to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
  • Provide security and protection for individuals and property in designated areas.
  • Respond to incidents and conflicts, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations
  • Conduct surveillance and maintain vigilance
  • Collaborate with law enforcement as needed
