Job description

Position Description: Set-up and operate various types of deburring and marking equipment under the direction of the area supervisor and /or leader, if applicable. The shift will be Monday through Thursday 10-hour days. The night shift includes a 20% shift premium.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate various types of deburring equipment, pneumatic tools, Pencil Grinders and Dremel style tools in the area with a minimum of supervision
  • Produces at standard and quality levels in accordance with company’s requirements
  • Must be able to deburr and mark any part in the area with guidance from higher level deburr operators or area supervisor
  • Works to blueprints or sketch requirements when available
  • Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc according to company’s policy
  • Maintains area, workbenches, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition
  • Observe all Company policies rule, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints and sketches
  • Must have demonstrated mechanical ability
  • Must be able to maintain close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
