Kitchen Guard Services is one of the largest kitchen exhaust and deep cleaning providers in California.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the overnight department making sure they adhere to the standards of excellence and to the guidelines outlined in the employee handbook, as well as enforcing policies and procedures, coaching, training, and correcting where needed.
  • Direct and oversee all operations during the night shift to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
  • Assist in Conducting Briefings for all staff during Night Shift.
  • Maintain a professional and high-quality service-oriented environment at all times.
  • Manage the night shift route, ensuring all employees perform the tasks assigned to them and coordinate with other departments as needed.
  • Assist overnight crew with exhaust cleaning (power washing, scraping, wiping down equipment, vacuuming, climbing ladders, hinging fans, covering kitchen equipment in plastic, etc. as needed
  • Must actively participate in decision-making processes when issues arise to ensure seamless service.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, assigning nightly work, conducting training, conducting counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and reward.
  • Should show initiative, problem-solving ability, staff training, and team-leading skills
  • Be aware and able to enforce all safety policies and procedures.
  • Remain current in all updates about new procedures and training.
  • Any other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of growing management responsibility
  • Hood Cleaning experience preferred but not required
  • Computer skills- word, excel, internet, other computer applications
  • Organization skills and time management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
  • Previous experience working nights a plus
Physical Requirements:
  • Be physically able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments.
  • Ability to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet.
  • Able to stand for 10 hours at a time.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently.
