Job Description: Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java - Angular)

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team for a high-impact contract engagement supporting a major financial services client (Freddie Mac). The ideal candidate brings over 7 years of professional software development experience, combining robust backend engineering in Java/Spring with modern frontend expertise in Angular (version 8+).

This role requires strong technical execution, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of complex financial or transactional ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable full-stack applications leveraging Java/Spring on the backend and Angular (8+) on the frontend.
  • Build, integrate, and optimize robust REST APIs and handling complex system integrations.
  • Work closely with databases to write efficient queries, design schemas, and manage data layers securely.
  • Utilize modern development tools for version control (Git), unit testing, and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, clearly communicating technical concepts and project progress.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Backend Expertise: Strong foundational experience with Java and the Spring Framework ecosystem.
  • Frontend Expertise: Proven proficiency with Angular (Version 8 or higher).
  • Core Engineering: Deep understanding of REST APIs, database management, and application security best practices.
  • Tools: Proficient with Git, SQL, and Unit Testing frameworks.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred & Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Domain Knowledge: A background or familiarity with Capital Markets or Payments Processing is highly desired.
