Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Illinois, with required ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.

Details
  • Hospital Emergency Department (ED) setting
  • Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
  • 8-week contract
Requirements
  • Active IL RN license currently in hand
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC, and/or TNS
Additional Information
  • Provides direct and indirect patient care in the ED, including assessment, care planning, and adjustment of nursing processes to ensure optimal patient flow and outcomes
  • Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic study results
  • Addresses the psychosocial, physical, communication, and general care needs of patients and their families
  • Responds quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
