The ONE Edge team delivers software-defined, automated, and scalable edge network infrastructure that improves the reliability of Amazon's global fulfillment and operations network. As a Network Development Engineer II on the Edge team, you will design and implement scalable, resilient edge network architecture. You will lead initiatives that improve network capacity, availability, and security, working with modern SD-WAN and cloud networking technologies

You will design solutions that are scalable, testable, maintainable, and efficient, with information security and network reliability as fundamentals.
You will work autonomously on major portions of edge network implementation, making pragmatic trade-offs that balance operational needs with long-term goals. You will partner with software, operations, and engineering teams to turn ideas into plans, participate in design and operational reviews, and mentor fellow engineers. You will also leverage automation and modern tooling to improve operational efficiency and diagnostics.
