Job description

We are currently seeking a Network Administrator 3rd shift (10PM to 6AM) to join the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art, highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population. Apply today to become part of the Leidos team that is assisting CESO as they migrate to a high security cloud environment by leading day to day operations activities and incident response for assigned shift.

This position is based in Arlington, VA and is 100% on-site.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Network monitoring of connections and performance to ensure network availability for user access and services.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues in the network and complete actions to mitigate them.
  • Able to plan, coordinate and implement network maintenance, installation, and security to protect and improve network infrastructure.
  • Receive and review user requests to establish or resolve issues with user access to services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers or vendors
  • Configure, install, and maintain network devices and software

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Currently possess DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II, e.g Security+ce.
  • BS in computer science or IT and 4+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Comfortable working 247 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience monitoring network performance, security, and availability
  • Experience in configuring switches and routers.
  • Experience working with Dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
  • Ability to change and configure 802.1x
  • Prior experience troubleshooting S2S/IPSEC tunnels connection.
  • Experience conducting VLAN configurations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with DISA and DISA's support to mission partners
  • TS/SCI w/CI Poly Preferred
  • AWS Cloud service experience
  • Experience with Palo Alto devices

Pay Range:Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
