Position Summary:

The Security Guard plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors at a transitional housing facility serving families with children. This individual is responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing site rules, managing entry/exit access, and responding to incidents professionally and promptly.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and patrol facility premises, including interior and exterior areas, to ensure safety and security.

  • Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized persons and suspicious activity.

  • Greet and sign in visitors, verify authorization, and manage access to the facility.

  • Complete incident reports and daily activity logs accurately and on time.

  • Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a respectful and calm demeanor.

  • Respond to emergencies, disturbances, or any security threats according to protocol.

  • Collaborate with on-site staff, including case managers, maintenance, and operations personnel.
