Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Material Packer to join our night shift team at our USA Parkway facility. This role is responsible for inspecting product quality, maintaining accurate counts and documentation, and efficiently packing materials according to customer specifications. The position also supports line operators and contributes to a clean and safe work environment. Basic operations of the converting line are learned and developed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual quality inspections and follow escalation procedures for non-conforming products
  • Ensure packaging meets customer requirements including correct box type, quantity, and labeling
  • Maintain accurate records of good product and waste counts
  • Operate across all four packing stations:
    • Pallet Stacker Station: Assemble lids, conduct quality checks, remove full boxes, and stack pallets
    • Box Making Station: Construct boxes and maintain housekeeping
    • Mailer Packer Station: Pack mailers into boxes and perform active quality checks
    • Utility Packer Station: Assist other roles, monitor timestamps, and support quality containment
  • Conduct rework and non-standard assignments including general housekeeping and material reprocessing
  • Assist line operators during wash-ups, makereadies, and startups
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with team members and during shift transitions
  • Participate in continuous improvement and promote a positive team culture
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Ability to read and follow job instructions and written/verbal directions
  • Completion of EverTec Material Packing Quality Assurance training (upon hire)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and perform repetitive motions
  • Basic understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing setting
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Reliable attendance and adherence to company policies
Work Environment:
  • Indoor manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to moving equipment, heat (90ยฐF+), humidity (80%+), and noise (85dB+)
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing, stooping, lifting, twisting, pushing, and pulling
