Schedule: Night Shift / Overnight Availability
Position: Childcare Teacher
Phoenix Kids Club is seeking a dependable, energetic, and creative Night Shift Teacher to join our 24-hour childcare team!
Our Night Shift Teachers play an important role in creating a safe, structured, engaging, and nurturing environment for children during evening and overnight care. While the night shift includes bedtime and quiet-time responsibilities, this is still an active teaching position.
 Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide attentive supervision and maintain a safe environment for children ages 3–13
  • Participate in lesson planning, STEAM projects, creative activities, and fun group experiences
  • Lead age-appropriate evening activities, games, projects, and enrichment opportunities
  • Assist children with evening routines, meals/snacks, hygiene, bedtime preparation, and quiet-time transitions
  • Maintain proper supervision of sleeping children throughout overnight hours
  • Complete required classroom cleaning, sanitizing, organizing, and preparation for the next shift
  • Maintain accurate attendance, incident, meal, and classroom documentation as required
  • Communicate professionally with parents, management, and other team members
  • Follow all Phoenix Kids Club policies, licensing requirements, health and safety procedures, and classroom expectations
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers to contribute ideas and prepare activities for upcoming lessons and special projects

Candidates must understand that night shift does not mean downtime. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, remains alert and engaged, and understands that maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and enriching environment is part of the job at all hours.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous childcare, teaching, youth development, or related experience
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  • Knowledge of childcare health and safety practices
  • Experience working with mixed-age groups is a plus
  • Ability to successfully complete all required background checks and employment requirements
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on facility needs
