First call doc comes in at 11AM the day of call and works through the night until 9a-10a the next day. The call doc will have the rest of that day off and the following day off (essentially 2 days off post-call). They also have someone who is 2nd call on beeper who usually goes home between 5p-6p and is called back less than 10% of the time. This doc will get the next day off if they have a long night, otherwise they’ll leave early.
