Job description

Assistant Hotel Manager (f/m/d) – MEININGER Kraków Centrum (Full‑time)

Overview

MEININGER Hotels redefines hybrid hospitality by combining modern accommodation with hostel-like facilities. We operate more than 35 hotels across Europe and are currently looking for an Assistant Hotel Manager to help create outstanding guest experiences while supporting the day‑to‑day operations of our Kraków location.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Hotel Manager to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations across Front Office and F&B departments.
  • Act as the key contact for internal and external suppliers, monitor stock levels and costs, and support monthly reporting activities.
  • Ensure the implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of MEININGER quality standards while maintaining compliance with company guidelines and procedures.
  • Support leadership, recruitment, onboarding, and development of hotel team members.
  • Take ownership of operational challenges, support the team in finding solutions, and contribute to a positive and efficient working environment.
  • Be flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and day, evening, and night shifts as required by operational needs.
  • Create memorable experiences for guests and ensure they enjoy an exceptional stay.
Qualifications
  • Solid hospitality background with professional experience in Front Office, F&B, or general hotel operations.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as a Team Leader, Shift Leader, Supervisor, or in a similar operational leadership role.
  • Currently working in a supervisory position and motivated to take the next step toward hotel management.
  • Enjoy serving as a bridge between operational teams and senior management.
  • Inspiring and approachable personality who enjoys motivating, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Strong organizational skills, hands‑on mentality, and a solution‑oriented approach to work.
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and guest experiences.
  • Thrives in multicultural environments and enjoys collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds.
