Biscuitville is hiring remote Restaurant Maintenance Technicians with hot and cold side experience and you might be the perfect fit! The work location will be an assigned area in the South Carolina Market, not a single store. The candidate can be located near one of these surrounding areas:  (Columbia, SC - Spartanburg, SC Market) Columbia surrounding area, Anderson, Greenville, Greer, Duncan, Spartanburg, Gaffney, Kings Mtn, Greenwood, Clinton.  

If you have hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing hot-side cooking equipment, cold-side refrigeration systems, and HVAC units, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Biscuitville Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining restaurant equipment and facilities. Your work will help ensure our restaurants run efficiently and safely. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our buildings and equipment are in excellent condition through proactive and effective maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

-          Perform routine preventative maintenance; ability to diagnose and restore various problems with restaurant foodservice equipment and buildings.

-          Maintain a safe work environment wherever you go. This includes the truck, maintenance shop, and assigned restaurants.

-          Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs of restaurant equipment and building.

-          Keep records such as invoices, truck parts inventory, mileage, and spending reports.

-          Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System-Corrigo) as the platform for receiving assignments and their completion.

-          Identify, resolve, and alert management to any equipment or building issues for future repairments.

Education & Experience

-          Education:

o   High School diploma or GED equivalent

o   HVAC certification – refrigeration experience

o   EPA Certification in HVAC/Refrigeration

-          Necessary skills:

o   Mechanical and troubleshooting

o   Experience with repairing restaurant cooking equipment – commercial fryers, grills, ovens, warmers, toasters, etc.

o   Usage of basic hand tools

o   Comfortable working independently with minimum supervision

-          Additional skills (Not necessary):

o   Carpentry, electrical, plumbing

o   Basic MS Office skills

o   Knowledge/experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

o   CORRIGO experience

Other Requirements

-          Ability to move/ lift heavy equipment up to 50 lbs.

-          Valid Driver’s License

-          If offered a position, candidates must pass a background and MVR review

-          Must be able to work On Call Rotation. Currently one rotation every 6-7 weeks. Be able to travel to other regions/markets as needed for restaurant coverage.

-          Must be able to work flexible hours. May include early mornings.
