Position Overview

We are seeking skilled Subcontractor Carpenters to partner with our Builders Group to complete residential handyman and remodeling projects. This role is ideal for experienced, reliable professionals who take pride in craftsmanship and can work independently while representing our company with integrity.


Scope of Work

Projects may include, but are not limited to:

  • General carpentry and handyman work
  • Kitchen and bathroom remodels
  • Framing, trim, and finish carpentry
  • Door and window installation
  • Drywall installation and repair
  • Decks, porches, and small additions
  • Punch list and service work

Responsibilities
  • Complete assigned jobs according to scope, timeline, and quality standards
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, project managers, and homeowners
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
  • Accurately track time, materials, and job progress as required
  • Identify and communicate change orders or unforeseen issues

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of residential carpentry experience (required)
  • Strong skills in both rough and finish carpentry

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must supply own tools and equipment
  • Proper insurance coverage:
    • General Liability Insurance
    • Workers’ Compensation Insurance (or exemption if applicable)

  • Ability to perform light work in other trades (tile, basic plumbing, etc.)
