Position: Service Technician - Commercial DDC Controls
Location: Mobile, Alabama

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to support and expand our growing commercial DDC service operations. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in building automation systems who is looking to build a long-term career in service while being part of a division that is actively being built and expanded. Candidates will have the opportunity to grow with the company and play a role in shaping how the service department operates.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial DDC control systems.
  • Diagnose system issues including controllers, sensors, networks, and field devices.
  • Execute system startups, commissioning support, and point-to-point verification.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system optimization.
  • Communicate with customers to explain issues and solutions clearly.
  • Document service activities, deficiencies, and recommendations.
  • Assist in identifying service opportunities and upgrades.
  • Work closely with engineering and project teams when needed.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with commercial DDC systems (Niagara, Honeywell, Schneider, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and sequences of operation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot controls, wiring, and communication networks (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently.
