Job description

Summary

As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will lead solutioning efforts and drive both the technical and functional architecture of scalable, enterprise-grade Salesforce implementations. You will collaborate closely with pre-sales and engagement teams to shape solution vision, validate feasibility, and support the development of compelling, strategic proposals. You will also define architectural standards, ensure platform health, and mentor technical teams while guiding the ongoing optimization and evolution of the Salesforce ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Identify how a client's architecture fits together and provide strategic and technical advice

  • Demonstrated pre-sales and engagement architecture experience, including leading solution design discussions, validating feasibility, and partnering with sales teams to craft technical proposals

  • Understand business and technical requirements and translate these into technical solutions

  • Analyze business processes and identify alternative solutions, assess the feasibility, and recommend new approaches, typically seeking to exploit new technology components.

  • Model processes, architecture, data structures, and information required to support the client's projects

  • Develop enterprise-grade information architecture and processes that realize the value of Salesforce.com application technology

  • Ensure both business strategy and technological direction are aligned

  • Take a collaborative role in developing and enforcing a set of architecture and development libraries and whitepapers

  • Set standards for programming tools and techniques, and advise on their application and compliance

  • Design integrations between Salesforce products and the clients' architecture

  • Support project managers in all stages of the software development process

  • Assign work through the correct communication channels to technical consultants and monitor performance, providing advice, guidance, and assistance

  • Oversight of the development and configuration of solutions and ensuring quality delivery.

Qualifications

  • 8 + Years in the Salesforce Ecosystem (minimum 2+ years of architecting within Salesforce) with enterprise architecture experience.

  • Extensive background in pre-sales solutioning and engagement architecture, with the ability to guide strategic conversations and translate client needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.

  • Expert on multiple Salesforce Cloud product sets

  • Familiar with several areas of Salesforce and the Force.com Platform, e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com

  • Previous experience as a consultant or developer in the Salesforce Ecosystem and related technologies

  • Ability to show integration and security design principles, translate business requirements into technical documents, and communicate design documents to developers

  • Demonstrated experience building a culture of engineering excellence (quality, security, performance, scalability, availability, etc.)

  • Solid experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Experience working in an Agile project environment

  • Salesforce Certifications are mandatory, including Developer, Consultant, and Architect

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and adapt to new domain requirements.

This role is a remote role.

The compensation range for this position represents our good faith estimate of the range we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity.

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commissions, or other incentive programs, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, etc.

Estimated Compensation Range:
$150,000—$180,000 USD
