Job description

NFL Media is seeking a Digital Content Associate, who is tasked with assisting the senior manager of Club Content Relations in all phases of content collection, management, and distribution for cross-platform production teams. This role supports production teams with content clearances, booking, video clipping/links for social and digital distribution, and tentpole content collection and logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Potential candidates must meet the following criteria and perform the following duties:
  • Must be able to follow instructions and work well with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily assignments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure situations
  • Strong football knowledge and awareness of NFL events and stories, ability to quickly identify players and coaches
  • Ability to develop and foster relationships within the NFL and club ecosystem
  • Ability to work closely with content assistants and NFL.com editorial staff to gather and distribute content to NFL Digital Media properties
  • Familiarity with utilizing social media for content gathering
  • Familiarity with sports media landscape and platforms
  • Previous work with an NFL or other professional sports organization a plus
  • Knowledge of Premiere or Adobe a plus
  • Knowledge of Tagboard a plus
  • Must be flexible with work schedule including weekends and holidays

Required Qualifications

  • 4-year degree or equivalent education
  • 2+ years in a public relations, sports media or other journalism environment

Qualifications

  • Previous professional experience in TV Production or digital content environment is strongly preferred

  • Must be able to respond quickly on short deadlines

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • 40 hours/week
  • May include weekend or holiday shifts
  • This is an in-office position - no remote work
  • This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL's third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.
