Job description

Why Join AngelList

We’re solving some of the hardest problems in venture capital and private markets. You’ll work with a team that values precision, urgency, and long-term thinking. If you want to shape how startups are funded and built, this is the place.

About AngelList

We exist to accelerate innovation by increasing the number of successful startups in the world. We do this by building the financial infrastructure that makes it easier for more people to invest in world-changing companies.

AngelList is the nexus of venture capital and the startup community. We support $171B+ in assets and have powered investments into over 13,000 startups—over 300 of which are unicorns. Today, 57% of top-tier U.S. VC deals involve investors on AngelList. While our scale is large, our ambition is larger.

If you're excited to build the future of private markets, come build with us.

About this RoleRunning a venture fund today requires a team of accountants, analysts, lawyers, and operators. The future is a headless, agentic experience where software runs the back office and the General Partner (GP) focuses on raising capital and picking winners.
We’re hiring a product manager to build this future.
You'll own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for Full Service, our flagship product for emerging managers, and Scout Funds, the product that puts you in the room with some of the largest names in venture, with the ultimate goal of increasing our market share.
Specifically, you will:
  • Own the agentic strategy for both products. Pick the workflows to automate next and shape the GP experience as more of the firm is handed off to agents.
  • Talk to GPs constantly. From a solo manager raising their first fund to the senior partners running our largest firms, turn what you hear into a sharp product point of view.
  • Grow fund formations, AUM, and retention by building a frictionless product that makes fund managers choose and stay with AngelList.
  • Write product requirements that turn messy customer and operational realities into work engineering and design can ship.
  • Partner with sales, solutions, and operations to support existing managers and win new ones
In this role, success is measured by fund count, AUM, retention, and service quality.
You might be a good fit if you can demonstrate:
  • Domain passion: deep engagement with the VC ecosystem and a real POV on where it's going; either fluent in fund mechanics (capital calls, distributions, NAV, K-1s) or ready to get there fast
  • AI fluency: actively builds with AI tools and sees automating fund operations as one of the most compelling product problems in the market
  • Ownership: closes the gap between formal PM scope and whatever needs to happen for the product to win
  • Customer-centric execution: growth-oriented, ships and iterates quickly, treats customer feedback as a primary input
  • Sharp communication and range: precise writer who turns edge cases into shippable requirements; can hold their own with senior leaders at established firms and do hands-on execution
  • Relevant experience: 4+ years PM, ideally fintech, B2B SaaS, or another operationally complex domain
Working Here

If you don’t meet every requirement above, we still encourage you to apply. We value complementary strengths and operators who learn by doing.

AngelList has offices in a few cities, New York City and San Francisco. We have a hybrid in-office model: teammates come in at least 2 days per week (Tuesdays and either Wednesday or Thursday).
Compensation:
The compensation for this role consists of a competitive base salary, benefits, and equity package. The base salary for this role is $200,000+ annually but actual will vary based on a number of factors including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Full details about our Total Rewards package will be provided during the recruitment process.
