We are hiring a Business Development Representative responsible for outbound prospecting and converting engagement into qualified meetings for our Account Executives and Sales Engineers. The BDR operates as an extension of our marketing campaigns and messaging strategy. The core remit of this role is to generate high-quality meetings that convert into real revenue opportunities.

What You Own

Outbound Account Development

  • Prospect into defined ICP accounts aligned with campaign strategy
  • Execute personalized multi-channel outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn)
  • Activate dormant or net-new target accounts
  • Create outbound pipeline through strategic engagement

Marketing Campaign Activation

  • Provide feedback on messaging resonance and campaign quality

Qualification & Meeting Integrity

  • Conduct thoughtful discovery conversations
  • Validate fit and business need before scheduling
  • Ensure strong handoff context to AEs and Sales Engineers

CRM Discipline & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Track outreach effectiveness and engagement patterns
  • Contribute to reporting on marketing-sourced pipeline

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years in outbound sales or business development (B2B preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable engaging director- and VP-level stakeholders
  • Organized, disciplined, and self-motivated
  • Resilient and coachable

Preferred

  • SaaS or technology experience
  • Experience working within a marketing-led pipeline model
  • Familiarity with Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outreach platforms

Salary: 60k base with 60k variable. Estimated Year 1 OTE: $75,000 – $95,000

Nextworld offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Medical: Three plan options (HSA, PPO, and Surest) through UnitedHealthcare. Nextworld covers 100% of employee-only HSA plan premiums and contributes $2,000/year to your HSA.

Dental: Two plan options (Base and Enhanced) through Principal. Nextworld covers 100% of employee-only Base plan premiums.

Vision: Coverage through Principal (VSP network). Nextworld covers 100% of employee-only premiums.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): Medical FSA, Dependent Care FSA (up to $7,500), and Limited Purpose FSA available through Rocky Mountain Reserve.

Health Savings Account (HSA): Available with HSA medical plan enrollment. 2026 contribution limits: $4,400 (individual) / $8,750 (family).

Short-Term Disability: Company-paid; 60% of base earnings, up to $2,500/week, for up to 12 weeks.

Long-Term Disability: Company-paid; 60% of base earnings, up to $10,000/month, through Social Security Normal Retirement Age.

Basic Life & AD&D: $50,000 policy at no cost to the team member.

Voluntary Life Insurance: Additional coverage available for team member, spouse, and children.

Hospital Indemnity Insurance: Voluntary plan paying cash benefits for hospital stays.

Critical Illness Insurance: Voluntary coverage including hospitalization from infectious diseases.

Accident Insurance: Voluntary plan paying flat-dollar benefits for covered accidental injuries.

401(k): Nextworld matches up to 4% of gross compensation each pay period. Pre-tax and Roth options available through Fidelity. 2026 IRS limit: $24,500 (plus catch-up contributions for eligible team members).

Employee Assistance Program (EAP): 3 free counseling sessions per issue per year, plus work-life services, through ComPsych — 100% confidential and free to team members and dependents.

Pet Insurance: Voluntary coverage through Nationwide.

Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST): In accordance with Colorado law and Nextworld policy.

Flexible Vacation Time (FVT): Non-accrual flexible vacation time — take the time you need to rest and recharge.
