Common job titles include NextGen Analyst, NextGen EHR Specialist, and NextGen Implementation Consultant. Proficiency in the NextGen EHR platform, knowledge of HL7 interfaces, and certifications such as Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) are highly valuable. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication enable specialists to bridge gaps between clinical staff and IT teams.
