Next Step Mental Health Center Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to gain a holistic understanding of their backgrounds, mental health status, and aspirations for therapy.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families using evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and narrative therapy.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are regularly reviewed and updated based on client progress and needs.
  • Engage clients in an open dialogue to collaboratively establish goals and objectives for their therapeutic journey.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations throughout the therapeutic process.

  • Foster a trusting therapeutic relationship that encourages client honesty, cooperation, and growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse range of clients dealing with various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, relationship problems, and personal development hurdles. As part of your responsibilities, you will tailor your therapeutic approach to the distinctive experiences and backgrounds of each client, ensuring that services are relevant and effective.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, with previous work experience in private practice being highly valued.
  • Exceptional clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention delivery.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport building with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with detoxification and substance use treatment services is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with collaborative treatment models and a background in utilizing technology for telehealth services.
  • Demonstrated success in treating diverse populations and cultural competence.
