Counseling Connections Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our vibrant team in Macon, Georgia. This position is remote, allowing you to work flexibly while contributing to our community-focused clinic. As a team member at Counseling Connections Clinic, you will collaborate with other mental health professionals, engage in regular case consultations, and participate in ongoing training programs. • Develop a strong, trusting relationship with clients to facilitate a safe space for open dialogue and healing.
• Diagnose and treat a wide array of mental health disorders while applying therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that align with client goals and progress, regularly adjusting these plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to engage clients effectively.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients consistently, documenting outcomes and adapting treatment strategies to ensure optimal support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and, when necessary, refer clients to specialists for additional services.
• Participate in case management meetings and contribute to community initiatives that promote mental health awareness.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Counseling Connections Clinic, you will work with a diverse clientele composed of individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders. Our focus is on creating a community-centered approach to therapy that empowers clients to achieve healthier lifestyles and build stronger relational dynamics.

• Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possess specialized training and experience in addiction counseling, with a focus on co-occurring disorders.
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit are essential, alongside the ability to motivate and inspire clients.

• Experience in a community health setting or previous work with varied socioeconomic populations is highly desirable.
• Background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in developing treatment plans and conducting effective group therapy sessions.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
