Job description

The marketplace for America's emergency vehicles and surplus equipment.

Municipalities and first responders lose critical hours navigating outdated systems to source the equipment that keeps communities safe. As our founding design engineer, you will rebuild that broken experience from the ground up, translating complex government procurement flows into intuitive, trustworthy interfaces. You will own the entire design-to-code pipeline, turning Figma concepts into polished React components and ensuring every pixel serves a mission‑critical function.

What we're looking for:
  • 4+ years of experience designing and coding production interfaces
  • Fluency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, and CSS within a component‑driven workflow
  • Expert‑level Figma skills with a proven track record of translating complex user research into wireframes and prototypes
  • An ability to navigate the constraints of government and enterprise software without sacrificing usability
  • Comfort operating as the primary design‑and‑code voice in an early‑stage New York office
  • Must be based in the United States.
