Job Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Report to photo editor.
- Take photographs at assignments assigned by the photo editor, editor-in-chief or section editors.
- Get caption information and accurate identification of individuals in photos.
- Communicate regularly with photo editor.
- Complete assignments by deadline.
- Generate photo ideas and enterprise.
- Make arrangements for a substitute photographer when cannot attend assignments.
- Submit photos to the newspaper using the process determined by the photo editor.
- Attend any and all staff meetings as set by photo editor or editor-in-chief.
- When using Indiana Statesman equipment, follow the equipment checkout protocol.
- Perform any duties called for to ensure the student newspaper accomplishes its mission.
