**ATTENTION** This position is for Midland, Texas in the Permian Basin
We are looking for water transfer field techs that can perform general monitoring and upkeep on equipment. A water transfer tech will also have to perform mechanical hookups of pumps, valves, lay-flat hose, and other general duties. Current driver's license and dependable transportation is required. Drug screen and Background check will be administered before hire.
Other Responsibilities Include:
- Guard the tanks, equipment, and facilities
- Execute plans, instructions and specifications of work activities and projects
- Assist with loading/unloading, storing and/or distributing materials, machinery and tools to appropriate locations
- Support equipment alignment, movement and transferring by acting as a spotter
- Monitor pumps, compressors and generators in order to maintain operation of machinery and equipment
- Ensure machinery, equipment and parts are greased, cleaned and maintained
- Coordinate overall equipment maintenance with supervisor and maintenance team
- Reports any issues and necessary maintenance
- Operate hand tools, power tools, construction equipment, and light trucks
- Follow all HSE processes and procedures
- Other duties may be assigned based on business needs
Qualifications:
- Must be flexible to a changing work environment, available to work overtime, days, nights,
holidays, and weekends as needed
- Must be a team player, self-motivated and able to prioritize
- Must have organizational and time-management skills
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand and walk on concrete and uneven surfaces
- Able to push, pull, lift, carry maximum weight 75lbs, repetitive wrist and hand movements
- Frequent exposure to inclement weather, bright lights, loud noises, dust, gas, and/or fumes
- Able to operate equipment and vehicles
