Position Overview

The NVYS Moving Crew is a dedicated team of volunteers who help transport, organize, and deliver donated furniture and household items to support youth and families served by New Vision Youth Services. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy physical activity, teamwork, and making a direct impact in their community.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with picking up large furniture and household donations from community donors.
  • Transport donated items to the NVYS storage facility.
  • Help clean, sort, organize, and maintain the storage area.
  • Deliver furniture and household essentials to clients' homes.
  • Load and unload items safely and efficiently.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure donations reach those who need them most.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability and willingness to lift and move furniture and large items.
  • Comfortable performing physical tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Reliable and responsive for on-call volunteer opportunities.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to helping others.

Time Commitment

  • Flexible, on-call volunteer opportunities.
