The Manufacturing Process Manager I oversees all plant manufacturing functions and focuses on safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and cost reduction. The Manager supervises production staff and creates a successful team culture through coaching and mentoring. They are also accountable for various manufacturing key process indicators.

  • Have a keen eye for detail and take pride in producing quality work.

  • Enjoy hands-on roles and working with machinery or are eager to learn.

  • Are comfortable working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

  • Value safety, organization, and continuous improvement

What You'll Do

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Manage Compass shipping, scheduling, and delivery

  • Report on weekly forecast tons and hours

  • Communicate quality changes, inspections, drawings, root cause and corrective action.

  • Understand tolerances and fabrication requirements.

  • Create process goals and monitor efficiency

  • Administer inventory control

  • Mentor new hires and employee department transfers

  • Ensure all inspections are complete

  • Maintain employee work schedules in payroll system
