Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Painters and Blasters with daily operations to maintain workflow and production schedules.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties including sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning, and organizing work areas.
  • Support surface preparation activities such as masking, thinner wiping, striping, and other prep work as assigned.
  • Help maintain paint and blast equipment, hoses, and tools in clean, safe working conditions.
  • Transport materials, supplies, and equipment within the paint and blast areas.
  • Properly handle and dispose of industrial materials such as solvents and masking materials according to TMF procedures.
  • Follow all company safety policies, wear required PPE, and actively participate in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn blasting and/or painting processes under supervision.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
  • No prior painting or blasting experience required; prior industrial, construction, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work safely and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and develop new skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in environments with dust, paint fumes, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to wear required PPE including respirators, safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing.
