The New Museum is a contemporary art museum located in New York City, known for showcasing innovative and boundary-pushing works by emerging and established artists from around the world. Founded in 1977, it focuses exclusively on contemporary art and is dedicated to new ideas and artistic experimentation. The museum often features exhibitions, public programs, and educational initiatives aimed at fostering dialogue and critical thinking about art and culture.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a museum professional, and why are they important?
