  • Ensure all content reflects DailyMail.com's editorial voice, style, and audience expectations.
  • Incorporate performance insights and social media trends into future content strategies.
  • Pitch fresh video concepts and experiment with new storytelling techniques to grow audience reach and engagement.

What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of professional video editing experience at a digital publisher, news organization, entertainment company, or social-first media brand.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Strong understanding of short-form social video best practices, including pacing, hooks, captions, graphics, and audience retention.
  • Experience creating content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other social platforms.
  • Excellent news judgment with the ability to work accurately on fast-moving stories.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills with an eye for composition, pacing, typography, and motion design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and openness to feedback.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Passion for digital journalism, entertainment, social media, and emerging content trends.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Availability for a hybrid schedule of four days onsite in our New York City office and one day remote each week, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as breaking news requires.

Why Join DailyMail.com
  • Create content viewed by millions of readers and viewers around the world.
  • Work alongside one of the largest digital newsroom teams in the industry.
  • Be part of a collaborative, creative environment where speed, innovation, and storytelling drive everything we do.
  • Help shape the future of social video for one of the world's most recognizable digital news brands.
