About the Role


Our client is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician for a direct-hire opportunity with a respected medical center in Rancho Mirage, CA. This position performs nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures while ensuring high standards of patient care, accurate documentation, and radiation safety.


New graduates are encouraged to apply.


Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Operate and calibrate nuclear medicine cameras and related imaging equipment.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Document relevant clinical history, symptoms, and procedure information.
  • Start IVs and follow established injection procedures.
  • Follow radiation safety standards for handling, administering, and disposing of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain supplies and inventory within the department.


Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • ARRT, NMTCB, or ASCP certification required.
  • California State License required.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required.
  • New graduates will be considered.
  • 1–3 years of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
