Role Overview

The Junior ERP Software Developer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining ERP software solutions that meet the needs of our organization. Under the direction of the ERP Programmer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our ERP systems. In addition to working with current ERP systems, there will be future implementation of new ERP software to optimize overall efficiency and productivity. 


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and customize ERP software solutions using PL/SQL, SQL, .NET, and other relevant tools and languages. 
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Integrate ERP systems with other business applications and databases. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ERP systems. 
  • Ensure data integrity and security within ERP systems. 
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users. 
  • Assist with system performance testing and troubleshooting to support reliability and stability.
  • Document software design and code for future reference and troubleshooting. 
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in ERP technologies. 
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts, SQL, and database design principles is considered a strong asset. 
  • Internship, co-op, or professional experience developing software applications, databases, or ERP-related solutions.
  • Exposure to technologies such as PL/SQL, C#, .NET, or similar programming languages and development tools.
  • Experience with popular ERP systems (e.g., IFS, Infor, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
