Overview:
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking new graduate Registered Nurses (RN) to be a part of the Surgical Specialty - Medical/Surgical Adult Health Rotation Team (AHEART).
This position is weekend/night shifts 36 hours per week.
Requirements:
New Graduate Registered Nurse
Active RN License
*Sign on Bonus available for our New Grad RN's*
All Surgical units at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital participate in the Adult Health Rotation "AHeart" program. As a new nurse you will rotate Surgical Specialty units throughout the program.
The units will include:
General Surgical Unit, Inpatient Back, Neck and Spine Center, Burn Trauma Med/Surg, General Med/Surg units.
As a new grad you will be oriented successfully to work in each of these units. The Adult Surgical Specialty Rotation will give you a solid med/surgical foundation.
During your second year of the program, you may choose to join a med/surg unit that you have grown to love, be consider for a specialty unit or one of our internship programs. If you have a continuing interest in unit rotation you may also join the Sentara Resource Pool after 18 months in this program.
