The amount and eligibility requirements for the sign-on bonus can vary depending on the employer, location, and current demand for nurses. Typically, nurses must commit to work for a certain period, such as one or two years, to receive the full bonus. It's important to review the terms carefully before accepting an offer.

These competencies ensure safe, effective patient care and support your growth in demanding healthcare settings.

What are some common challenges faced by new graduate RNs during their transition into a hospital setting, and how does the team support them?

New graduate RNs often face challenges such as adjusting to fast-paced clinical environments, managing multiple patients, and building confidence in clinical decision-making. New grad RNs tend to earn higher salaries in regions with a high cost of living and greater demand for healthcare professionals, such as metropolitan areas or states with competitive pay scales.
