Job description

Nurse Residency Program
New nurses hired into an acute care setting position, with one year or less of nursing experience, will be placed into our Nurse Residency Program upon hire. The program will encompass monthly paid education for the first year of employment. The goal of our program is to support new nurses in transitioning from student nurse to a staff nurse in the acute care setting. The program is designed to be fun, as well as educational, and it will identify gaps in clinical knowledge and enhance clinical decision-making and critical thinking so that our new professionals can deliver the best quality care to our patients.
Minimum Requirements
• Candidate to be a graduate of an accredited RN program with eligibility to sit for NCLEX examination and obtain NJ state licensure
• BLS through the American Heart Association
• Intermediate computer skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull
Salary - $42.78 - $57.02 hourly (based on experience)
