Overview
Manages clinical operations and staff while providing high quality patient care. Evaluates patients, plans and
implements an effective patient focused physical therapy program utilizing standard and specialized treatment
techniques, effectively communicates and documents information regarding patients. Establishes and initiates
discharge plans as necessary. Consistently evaluates outcome of care and provides continuous monitoring of patients' needs making appropriate modifications in the treatment plan. Maintain a high level of professional
expertise and assume responsibility for professional growth and development.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC- Anaheim
Regional Medical Center. It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with the core values
of AHMC- Anaheim Regional Medical Center and AHMC Healthcare Inc. The employee shall support
AHMC-Anaheim Regional Medical Center's strategic plan and goals and direction of the performance
improvement plan. The employee will also be expected to support all organizational expectations including, but
not limited to; Customer Service, Patient's Rights, Confidentiality of Information, Environment of Care and other initiatives.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an Accredited Physical Therapy Program
One to Two years of inpatient and outpatient physical therapy experience in an acute hospital and /or rehabilitation department and/or outpatient clinic setting preferred; may consider a new grad.
