What is the opportunity?

As Senior Manager, T&O New Grad Programs, you will lead the strategy and operations of the Technology & Operations (T&O) New Grad Programs. You will play a central role in contributing to the delivery of exceptional programming while ensuring we continue to exceed our KPIs. Reporting to the Director, T&O Talent Programs, this role offers an opportunity to lead a high performing team and manage three impactful programs.]

Specifically for full time employees who have graduated from a post-secondary institution within the past two years, our new graduate experience is made up of thoughtfully designed programs that work together to support the transition into the workplace,helping to explore interests,build skills over time,and open doors tolong-term opportunities intechnology and operations. You will guide and support the team that executes this programming, manage relationships with key stakeholders across T&O (including senior leaders), and build upon an existing and vibrant new grad community.

What will you do?

  • Lead day-to-day operations and strategy for three main programs (Propel - New Graduate Orientation, Elevate - Monthly Learning Series, BOOST - High-Potential Technologist Development Program); provide guidance to leadership on continuous program improvement
  • Develop and execute program roadmaps and initiative sequencing; recommend new offerings, pilots, or enhancements based on EES scores, labour market trends, and new grad feedback
  • Manage multi-six figure budgets, oversee resource allocations, and conduct monthly calibrations and reviews to optimize program outcomes
  • Mentor and lead manager team on program execution including scheduling, logistics, technology support, and stakeholder coordination
  • Serve as primary escalation point for dependencies and risks; manage key communications with internal leadership, people managers, and external partners to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Track, analyze, and report on program metrics and outcomes; collaborate with managers and leadership to assess effectiveness and propose evidence-based enhancements
  • Act as thought leader and culture carrier on labour market trends and new grad experience best practices; represent RBC at industry events, conferences, and hackathons
  • Manage performance and professional development of direct reports, creating learning opportunities aligned with desired career growth

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, employee experience, learning & development, or related talent functions
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and managing complex initiatives in a matrix organization
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with ability to translate business objectives into executable programs and measurable outcomes
  • Advanced project management and budget management capabilities; experience managing multi-six figure budgets
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting capabilities; comfort using analytics and insights to drive decision-making
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present to large audiences and senior leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and mentor direct reports
  • Experience designing and delivering learning experiences, with understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with new graduates or early-talent programs in a corporate or post-secondary setting
  • Knowledge of current labour market trends and changes related to new graduates entering the workplace
  • Experience with advanced analytics tools, dashboards, or business intelligence platforms
  • Bilingual capabilities (French and English) or background in organizational psychology and employee engagement strategy
