Job description

Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Sales Manager and the daily guidance of an assigned Project Manager, you will coordinate all technical activities for multimillion-dollar commercial MEP projects. This role serves as a key communication link between all internal disciplines, external customers, and vendors. Within the design-build construction process, you will continue to develop your skills across estimating, scheduling, and design while ensuring seamless cross-functional coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Project Manager in liaising with internal departments, including accounting, purchasing, engineering, construction, fabrication shops, and legal.
  • Partner with Purchasing to manage scope, pricing, submittals, and delivery timelines for all purchased items.
  • Coordinate installation procedures among Engineering, Construction, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee onsite job progress, leveraging design expertise to resolve emergent operational and installation challenges in real-time.
  • Direct daily administrative workflows including Document Control, RFIs, daily logs, POs, MOPs, submittals, and procurement logs, per the Project Manager's direction.
  • Coordinate personnel activities, plan workflows, and track labor, materials, and deliveries to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
  • Identify and escalate potential project risks, collaborating with the Project Manager to drive solutions to complete resolution.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and field personnel by driving OAC meetings, kickoff, and foreman meetings while actively managing subcontractors to ensure project standards are met.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements:
Travel required 0-15% of the time to other office locations.

Hours:
This is a non-exempt position from Monday through Friday. Work hours begin and end between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm with a one-hour break for lunch and two rest breaks. Eight hours per day is required and other occasional overtime may be necessary for business needs

Competitive Wages:
$29.87 to $42.66 per hour.
